Monadnock New Hampshire

Monadnock, New Hampshire is a mountain in the town of Jaffrey and Dublin, New Hampshire. Similarly, it is one of the highest mountains in southern New Hampshire which is around 3,165 ft on the peak. It is known by Grand Monadnock also which makes it a district between Vermont and New Hampshire peaks.
Further, it is open to hiking, backpacking, picnicking, and snowshoeing. Backcountry skiing is possible on some of the lower trials. Additionally, four sessional campgrounds east of the mountain are maintained by the state of New Hampshire, However, the park charges a fee for wandering at the Old Toll Road and State Park Headquarters trailheads.

People who like to come for hiking can be solicited from Memorial Day through Columbus Day and select off-season weekends at the park headquarters on the southeast side of the mountain. Many retirees live in Nearby Jaffrey and residents tend to lean conservative. The public schools in nearby Jaffrey are above average.
